An Unscripted Heart-To-Heart About The Power Of Embracing Discomfort

from Powerhouse Women · host Lindsey Schwartz

During a recent session, my mentor and I discussed my current personal evolution and came up with some homework. As I think about the women I look up to, I find myself craving their vulnerable stories and nitty-gritty conversations about their growth journeys right as they're happening. So today, I want to invite you into my journey and share a completely unscripted heart-to-heart personal update.  Lately, I've been grappling with some micro self-sabotaging tendencies that are hindering me from being my fullest self. Instead of hurriedly seeking solutions, I'm practicing embracing the discomfort and recognizing the power of mindfully sitting with the unknown. I find myself so quick to place judgment or completely avoid my negative thoughts, and on this new path, I am acknowledging the thoughts and allowing myself to move forward from them free of judgment.   In this episode we talk about: - My new goal for unscripted podcast episodes  - Allowing yourself to sit in the space of the unknown - Having a persistent and negative inner dialogue that hinders you from being your full self - Removing judgment on self-sabotaging behaviors  - Acknowledging uncomfortable feelings while moving forward   If you loved today's episode, please share your favorite takeaways or your own systems and processes by screenshotting this episode and tagging us on Instagram!   Click HERE to text the word MENTOR to (602) 536-7829 for weekly business + mindset tips delivered straight to your phone!   Not part of the Girl Gang Community yet?
