An up and down weekend for the Edmonton Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers return from the NHL All Star break hasn't gone as planned. First came a 3-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, ending their franchise record 16 game win streak, which was then followed by an up and down weekend in California.On Friday night, Edmonton did come away with a 5-3 win over the Anaheim Ducks; however, they trailed three times in that game and it wasn't until the third period that they came alive. Then on Saturday, it was an extremely flat effort offensively from the Copper and Blue resulting in 4-0 spanking from the Los Angeles Kings.
