Ana Maria Rivera: NZ School of Tourism CEO on figures showing enrolments are up 25% for 2023

There's a post-pandemic boom of people studying to work in the tourism industry. Exclusive data revealed to Newstalk ZB shows enrolments at the New Zealand School of Tourism are up 25 percent for 2023. The school claims more students feel supported to go back into the tourism sector,  as parents recognise better employment opportunities. School CEO Ana Maria Rivera says there's a range of people entering the sector, which will help the economy bounce back. She says it's exciting and encouraging to see such high uptake.
