Analysing Harry Styles and Taylor Swift (Haylor) Lyric Parallels

In this bonus episode, to celebrate one of our favourite artist, Harry Styles' birthday, we are taking a look back at songs that may have been inspired by 'Haylor' or the relationship between Taylor Swift and Harry Styles from a strictly lyrical and thematic point of view. We run through songs written by Taylor that may have been based around their time together, breaking down possible Easter Eggs and mentioning all the lyrical and thematic parallels in both artists' songwriting. We discuss Red songs such as Treacherous, some Vault songs, 1989 tracks including the infamous Style and Out of the Woods, and then some speculative but interesting reputation, Lover, folklore and evermore recordings. Though, of course, we can never be sure who these songs are truly about and this fact holds no weight in relation to their overall brilliance.
