Michigan's spring game ended with a physical defensive stop by Team Maize, who beat Team Blue by a score of 17-7. Analyzing any spring game is tough without context, and even with context, data, and film study a spring game is simply a public practice. However, there were a few things that stuck out to me. Michigan Football is still a physical team that will be led by its ground attack and defense. This is despite eight out of eleven defensive starters and every starting offensive lineman leaving for the NFL. The quarterback battle between Alex Orji and surprisingly Davis Warren will be tight, but Donovan Edwards and Michigan's offensive line look ready to feast and the defense should remain an elite unit.
