Anastacia of Astora

Anastacia of Astora is a tragic Fire Keeper in Dark Souls, bound to maintain the Firelink Shrine bonfire. She is maimed and mute, her tongue removed as punishment for an impure transgression. Her life is inextricably linked to the bonfire. She is murdered by Knight Lautrec, which extinguishes the flame. The player can hunt him down to retrieve her soul, resurrecting her to restore her speech and the bonfire.
