ANC in Gauteng not ready to release PIC report on PPE corruption scandal.

from AM Live on SAfm · host SABC News and Current Affairs

SAfm — The ANC in Gauteng has decided not to release its Provincial Integrity Commission (PIC) report on PPE corruption scandal. The Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) met for two days deliberating on the report which it felt had inconsistencies, contradictions and lacked adequate information. The PEC resolved to extend leave of absence for Health MEC Bandile Masuku, his wife Loyiso who is an MMC in the City of Johannesburg and Presidency spokesperson Khusela Diko by two weeks. The trio took leave of absence as they were being probed by the PIC after they were implicated in the awarding of R2 billion PPE tenders by the provincial Health Department. Nomalizo Mandela filed this report
