ANC NW list conference verification process starts despite clashes

SAfm — The ANC North West List conference is expected to go ahead following violent clashes among delegates in Potchefstroom early this week. The four ANC regions in the province, that include the Dr Ruth Segomosti Mompati region and Dr Kenneth Kaunda region, have been at loggerheads with the Provincial Task Team following the disbandment of the Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) led by former premier Supra Mahumapelo. However, according to former Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Secretary-General, Lopang Rothman, the national appeals committee, led by Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, informed them that the conference is postponed until further notice.
