Lately, Goan cinema has been doing good with new talent giving their 100 percent. This year ‘Ancessao’, another konkani short film by Manguirish Bandodkar has brought laurels back home to Goa by winning the best film award at Toronto International Film Festival 2025. Prashanti Talpankar another talented Goan won the best Actor in lead role for the same festival.
