Anchored 37: Live by Faith

What does it mean to truly live? Our culture defines life in terms of pleasure, success, or freedom from responsibility—but Scripture gives us a far deeper answer. Paul declares that “the righteous shall live by faith.” Life, in God’s eyes, is not measured by how much we experience or accumulate, but by our trust in Him.We cannot earn righteousness through good works or religious effort. True righteousness is received by faith in Jesus Christ, whose finished work on the cross makes us right with God. Through faith, we move from spiritual death to life—life that begins now and continues into eternity.To live by faith means to engage every moment, every task, and every relationship with full dependence on Christ. Whether we’re working, serving, or resting, our confidence is in the God who loves us and lives through us. In Him, we discover what it truly means to live.
