Preparing for the storms of this life is a serious matter. Storms will come. As our series, “Storm Proof” comes to an end, we are reminded that Jesus is the one who still speaks, “Peace! Be still!” We have seen that when the storms of life rage, God is more concerned about our character and holiness than our comfort and happiness. Doubts may come, but doubt is no place to stay, it’s a place to pray. God is big enough to handle our doubts! Going through life, our best laid plans can fall apart. But, it’s in those moments that we pray and praise because just because things aren’t going according to our plans, doesn’t mean they aren’t going according to God’s. I’d rather have my plans fall apart than miss what God has planned for my life. Today, we will see that to truly be prepared we must be in Christ, for in Him we are anchored through the storm!
