Isaiah 53 is arguably the clearest presentation of the gospel in the Old Testament. It’s powerful, but it isn’t pretty or easy to read. Grace is God’s free gift of forgiveness to us, but it cost Him infinitely. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Isaiah stretches human language in his effort to describe the infinite cost of grace.
