And She Lived it Well

from L.I.V.E. Life Inspired Views for Everyday · host Kris Meyer

Send us Fan MailThich Nhat Hanh said, “Everything – including love, hate, and suffering, needs food to continue. If suffering continues, it’s because we keep feeding our suffering.” Ghandi said, "My life is my message." Two powerful quotes by two powerful people who found their power, their influence, their purpose in living meaningful lives promoting joy, love, and goodness. Today's podcast reflects the life of another powerful person who lived her power in the last 4 1/2 years of her life on this earth with joy. Our student graduation speaker for the graduate program at Buena Vista University where I work part time, Sarah Howk, told us that her super power was "to be underestimated." She knew people would make an assumption, just by looking at her, about her ability to be strong, confident, and do big things. Instead of being intimidated by their assumptions, she used them to make her rise above. What a message she sends through her life. Just as my friend did in the last 4 1/2 years. Just as you and I can do with the same kind of determination.Let's feed a message of joy, of strength, of confidence, to spread love, empathy, joy, and goodness to our world! Thanks for listening.
