And those who hold high places must be the ones to start: Bourbon Hall Of Famer, Author, Chemist, Mystic, and my Friend Jerry Dalton!

Today on IYHGYHE, My favorite episode yet. We visit the home of newly appointed Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame inductee Jerry Dalton! Jerry spent nine years as the only non-Beam family member to gain the title of Master Distiller at the world famous Jim Beam distilleries! In addition to this Jerry spent his time studying phillosophy, spirituality, raising a family, working in evironmental sciences, teaching Sunday school and building a life with his amazing wife who sadly passed away recently. Jerry is a true gem, an American treasure, a distilling treasure, and one that transcends Bourbon as a whole. An absolute mystic on his way to an adept and ascencion into the mythic! Be sure to check out Jerry's book: The Tao Te Ching: A New Approach, Backwards Down The Path at greendragonbooks.com Join me in celebrating this amazing man's contributions to not only the industry I love but to humanity as a whole. This one was special to me for many reasons; one my love and admiration of the mans work followed by recording at his home and how open Jerry and his son were to me as well as the fact that one of my best friends in the world, Kevin Rose, went out of his way to introduce me to Jerry. This is also the first interview I recorded after being made a bonafide Kentucky Colonel. #alanbishopdistiller #alchemistoftheblackforest #keeperoftheblueflame #kentuckybourbonhalloffame #taoteching #jerrydalton #jimbeam #masterdistiller #spirituality #lifelessons #kentuckycolonel #colonelalanreedbishop #ifyouhaveghostsyouhaveeverything
