Andrea Power through learning your rights

from Adam · host Adam Webber

Andrea has a very real fear that stems from a place that many of us can relate to. The recent protests, vocal and physical manifestations of calls for societal change are embodiments of what Andrea fears the most, that society and the political system is rigged against the working and lower class citizens. Andrea realized this more in more after attending the recent Black Lives Matter protests and she has decided to learn the law and legal system inside and out. She is taking her power back. The legal system can feel extremely scary and unjustly punitive. Andrea decided to fight against tickets that she had been unjustly issued and she won. This gave her a realization that if she learns the law she can gain her voice. Not having a voice and quite frankly not understanding the “vocabulary” that is used weakens ones ability for equality and justice. Andrea has found strength and the ability to over come her fears through deeper education and learning her Constitutional Rights. Email: [email protected]
