La actividad se va a desarrollar en Aluminé, los días 16, 17 y 18 de noviembre. La organización del Rafting Fest y del Abierto Argentino de Rafting está a cargo de la empresa Pehuenia Rafting y de la Municipalidad de Aluminé a través de su Dirección General... de Deporte Comunitario. Las actividades se realizarán en aguas del río Aluminé. Se estima que en el Rafting Fest habrá un centenar de participantes mientras que en el Abierto se espera la presencia de equipos provenientes de diversas localidades como Villa Pehuenia, San Martín de los Andes, Neuquén, San Carlos de Bariloche (Río Negro), San Rafael, Potrerillos y Tunuyán (Mendoza).
