Andrew Alter is the marketing manager of the Philadelphia Visitor Center. The Philly PHLASH Bus Company is a seasonal transit program managed by the Philadelphia Visitors Center Corporation. The PHLASH is one of the most affordable and convenient ways for visitors to get around Philadelphia, with 19 stops located near popular attractions, from the Delaware River Waterfront to Fairmount Park. Last month, on March 26, 2026 – The Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation (PVCC) announced the return of the Philly PHLASH®, Philadelphia’s iconic purple bus, for a monumental 2026 tourism season. The PHLASH Downtown Loop features new stops at the Philadelphia Fashion District and FIFA Fan Festival. A new West Loop route will operate between LOVE Park and West Fairmount Park, stopping for the first time at William H Gray III 30th Street Station and Mütter Museum. Andrew joins the show to talk about the new features the PHLASH Bus has planned for this upcoming spring and summer season during the semiquincentennial.
