Andrew Austin-The Texas Naturalist

from Impact Outdoors Podcast · host Derek York

On this week's show, I was able to chat with my good friend Andrew Austin (@thetexasnaturalist) about his incredible journey so far. Andrew and I met a couple years ago through the podcast summit I host every year, the Hunt Fish Podcast Summit. He does a lot of really cool things when traveling across the region, especially if you like looking at cool animals. Andrew has a passion for conservation and educating people on all different aspects of the natural world. He is also a great photographer and has been able to work on some incredible projects like Deep in the Heart film. More recently, Andrew has been put in charge of running one of the oldest duck call companies in the U. S., Sure-Shot Game Calls. This one is full of great stories and a lot of great conversations, and I really appreciate Andrew for coming on. Be sure to check out his social media and podcast here: Andrew Austin (B.S.
