Andrew Glaze: Cocodona 250 Preview Episode for 2023

from Everyday Ultra · host Joe Corcione

Andrew Glaze is an ultrarunner and content creator well-known in the running community for his 3+ year streak of running 100+ miles per week consecutively. He is also a father, husband, and firefighter on top of it all, which speaks to his incredible drive to continue to do hard things, even on a busy schedule. He has amassed thousands of followers on social media as he is an inspiration to many to embrace challenge and pursue the passion of running. And since he’s passionate about running, he is lining up for Cocodona 250 for the third time this year. But not only is he doing Cocodona again; he is ALSO lining up for the Canyons 100 miler, which is only one day before the race! Oh yeah - and he ran a 100 miler the week before this all and won it. What a beast! In this episode, Andy talks about how he is approaching his Canyons + Cocodona double, the lessons he’s learned over the years from doing Cocodona twice, and his approach to sleep, dealing with the cold, and fueling.
