Andrew Janocko Appointed Raiders Offensive Coordinator

The Las Vegas Raiders have officially appointed Andrew Janocko as their new offensive coordinator, marking a significant shift in the team’s leadership. Janocko transitions from the Seattle Seahawks to reunite with the Raiders' recently named head coach, Klint Kubiak. This strategic hiring aims to revitalize an offensive unit that struggled significantly during the previous season, ranking at the bottom of the league in several key categories. While Janocko will play a vital role in game planning, Kubiak intends to retain playcalling duties as part of a collaborative coaching effort. A primary focus for the new staff will be the development of a franchise quarterback, especially since the team holds the first overall pick in the upcoming draft. This move completes a broader restructuring of the Raiders' staff, which also included promoting Rob Leonard to lead the defense.
