At the same time, a friend created a start-up that gave scholarships to college students who traded in their smart phones for dumb phones—and asked Andrew to lead it. The result is Humanality, an organization that is helping hundreds of young people not only to free themselves from what they themselves describe as phone addictions, but to learn what it means to engage fully in life-giving experiences that change their hearts, their minds, and even their bodily and mental health.
