Andrew Walters Out for Season After UCL Surgery | Cleveland Guardians News

Guardians pitcher Andrew Walters faces a brutal setback after UCL surgery in Arlington, Texas, sidelining him for 10-12 months—just as he was showing promise and fighting his way back into the bullpen. With limited major league action in 2025 and a high ERA in Triple-A, this latest injury likely means he’ll miss most—or all—of 2027. Recovery is now the focus as he rebuilds under renowned surgeon Dr. Keith Meister, with both player and team holding their breath for a future comeback.
