Andy Knapp Stage Dives Through Pain
from Rock Music News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Andy Knapp, SNOT’s frontman, took a wild stage dive in Chester that left him with a massive leg hematoma—no broken bones, but plenty of pain. Still, he’s determined to perform at Download Festival today, with guitarist Mikey Doling backing his grit. The band, currently in the studio with producer Chris Collier, is recording their first album with Knapp on vocals since he joined last year. Guitarist Doc Coyle, formerly of God Forbid and Bad Wolves, now fills the void left by Sonny Mayo’s exit. Amid lineup shifts and the shadow of their late frontman Lynn Strait—whose legacy lives on in the tribute album “Strait Up”—SNOT’s pushing forward, defiant and loud.
