Hola apasionados del taekwondo, el día de hoy tenemos una entrevista con la profesora Angélica Gómez de la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro.En este episodio del podcast, la profesora Angélica nos cuenta como se inició en la práctica del taekwondo y como quedó cautivada desde el principio por este arte marcial y deporte.Era tal la pasión y las ganas que sentía la profesora Angélica por competir, que ayudaba a una compañera con sus tareas para que ella después le ayudara a trabajar en su técnica de pateo.Según Ken Robinson, un maestro e investigador británico, cuando una persona se encuentra en su "elemento" se enciende una chispa y la persona sabe que ese es su medio, es donde se siente motivado. No necesita motivaciones exteriores, de los padres, de la esposa, etc.Muchas veces pensamos que a los jóvenes se les tiene que forzar para que estudien, hagan deporte, etc., quizás, solo se trate de que encuentren su elemento como la profesora Angélica.Otro tema que tocamos en el podcast, es el de separar la mentalidad competitiva del maestro de taekwondo con los objetivos de los alumnos. Muchos atletas exitosos, lo han sido porque son personas ambiciosas y competitivas, lo cuál es bueno. Sin embargo para las etapas tempranas del aprendizaje del deporte, o para las personas que entrenan por recreación, tal vez sea necesario encontrar otras formas de motivación más allá del deporte competitivo.La profesora Angélica trabaja con un grupo de jóvenes de nivel preparatoria (15 a 17 años) y ha encontrado que la forma en que ellos se motivan a trabajar no era necesariamente la misma que a ella la llevó a ser campeona de Olimpiada Nacional por ejemplo.La entrevista es muy entretenida pues la profesora combina su experiencia de competidora ahora con su trabajo como profesora en diferentes etapas de formación.Sin duda vale la pena que la escuches.Te comparto el audio aquí adelante:También puedes escuchar en Ivoox y ItunesSoy Luis Arroyo y esto es Pasión Taekwondo
