Angelina Jolie’s Movie Finds New Life on Netflix | Entertainment and Celebrity News

Angelina Jolie’s gritty survival thriller “Those Who Wish Me Dead” is roaring back to life on Netflix, climbing to 3 in the U.S. after a quiet theatrical debut in 2021. Directed by Taylor Sheridan, the film follows Jolie as a trauma-battered smoke jumper who teams up with a runaway kid (Finn Little) fleeing assassins—all while dodging a raging wildfire. Despite failing to recoup its $20M budget and mixed critical reviews, audiences are loving it, giving it an 86% Rotten Tomatoes score and praising Jolie’s intensity and the stunning Montana landscapes. With a stacked cast including Nicholas Hoult and Jon Bernthal, it’s proof that streaming can resurrect overlooked gems—and this one’s finding its tribe.
