Frank Capra's festive Magnum Opus It's A Wonderful Life is 70 years old this December (21st to be specific). The film sees George Bailey, played by an absolutely on top of his game fresh face Jimmy Stewart, descend to the brink of suicide before being rescued by a bumbling, naive, and fairly consistently infuriating angel named Clarence. In honour of this, as well as discussing the legendary film itself, we will be addressing our winged pals the angels. Where are they from? What exactly are they... and what are they supposed to do?
