Satan and the Devil are the same being, operating on us in two different ways. Satan’s goal is to abort our growth into sons of God. The Devil wreaks havoc on our life. Demons act as devils by enticing us to harbor negative emotions such as anger, jealousy, hatred, etc. Once these emotions are sparked, demons and the devil encourage these emotions to grow, as if they put a sign out saying the non-believer in Jesus Christ has a vacancy for an “anger demon” or a “hatred demon”. Demons cannot possess a believer in Jesus Christ, but they can feed off a believer who allows these negative emotions to grow.
