I met him on the open road At the edge of dusk in the western cold His collar was up and his hat was low When I saw him standin' in the fog I knew I had to stop We drove in silence for a while He turned to me and said "I like your style" "You ever two-step?" "I do not" "Well Do you mind if I show you how to waltz?" When the song comes on I'll grab your hand The cold moonlight and the starry dance We glide like two ghosts We laugh and spin I was dancin' with the man in black again I asked him "Do you need a ride?" He said "No I think I'm doin' fine" And I said "I should be headin' home" He said "But it's too early Don't you go" And he asked me "Do you two-step?"
