She served as the president and co-vice chair of two coalitions. The laws she participated in passing became the model for the rest of the country and changed the legal landscape on a national level. When, in 1991, her work triggered the recall of suppressed memories of abuse, she attempted suicide. She wrote the best-selling book, BEYOND THE DARKNESS about her transformational Near-Death Experience. Angie is now partnered with the daughter of Utah's infamous killer Dan Lafferty who murdered his brother's wife and baby in 1984.
