Angolans have gone to the polls today, in what has been marked as a historical election which sees the end of the presidential reign of President Eduardo dos Santos. Dos Santos, the leader of the People’s Movement for the Liberation of Angola has decided to go on retirement after 38 years in power in a the country that has had many economic challenges during his rule.
