What this episode covers
A new cat appeared in Annabelle’s neighborhood, and started beef with Annabelle’s two cats, Betty & Shirley. Annabelle tells Laura that up until this one encounter, Betty & Shirley had enjoyed a happy and loving existence. After that encounter, their furry fun times turned to fury, sending Annabelle into the comforting, albeit metaphorical, bosom of Austrian existentialist Martin Buber (1878 - 1975), of “Ich-Du” “Ich-Es” fame. This will all make sense when Annabelle explains it. Plus, a caller from Albuquerque says something so nice…Annabelle and Laura might just visit her unannounced.
