Animal Pound- Comic Book Podcast Gets POLITICAL!?

In this week's episode, Ryan makes Jamie read the 2025 limited series, Animal Pound. Written by Tom King, illustrated by Peter Gross, colour by Tamra Bonvillain, and lettering by Clayton Cowles. They also go on big tangents about comparing this to the original Animal Farm by George Orwell, the political events that inspired this adaptation, and a lot of ramblings about British and American politics in general. Timecodes00:00 - Intro05:32 - Comic Talk Starts06:13 - Comic Credits07:08 - The Themes of Animal Farm and Animal Pound10:31 - A Bit on the Art12:12 - Story and More Themes21:08 - Brief Rundown of the Actual Plot22:42 - General Story Talk and its References57:17 - Spoilers for Comic1:15:19 - In Summary1:18:32 - Fan MailYouTube- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_2GA9q40JoBmnbOrkjGuJg Apple Podcasts- https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-comic-literate-podcast/id1670647884 Spotify- https://open.spotify.com/show/4hd5lO43gSZyyh5UEmcq2U?si=NOE0uX4iRHWGDwIoCRfndQ Google Podcasts- https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy50cmFuc2lzdG9yLmZtL3RoZS1jb21pYy1saXRlcmF0ZS1wb2RjYXN0Pocket Casts- https://pca.st/r8b1cyg7Comic Stan- https://youtube.com/@comicsstan-q1z?si=F9mxzO-eSmfWphWx
