Evan Vernon interviews Daria Kashcheeva, director of DAUGHTER. Daria studies animated film at FAMU in Prague. Her student films were featured at many international festivals. Daria’s original To Accept won the Nespresso Talents 2017 film competition in Cannes. Her Bachelor’s puppet animation Daughter received a Cristal at Annecy Animation Film Festival 2019. DAUGHTER was recently selected as a Winner in the Animation Nights New York 5th ANNY Best of Fest in 2021.
