Friday is here, bringing a long, holiday weekend with it. Have fun, be safe, and remember WHY we get Memorial Day! Started you off with a look at this weekend's weather, and we got an update on the Scottie Scheffler arrest from last week. Recapped the NBA & NHL playoff action from last night, and looked ahead to 2026 in Minneapolis when WWE Summerslam comes to the area. Plus, let you know what's new in theaters this weekend, what's on TV, and also laughed at this "Wheel of Fortune" answer from last night's show. Did you know that most flamingos live to the age of 40, but there's a flamingo in Europe that's 70 years old & just laid her first egg??? Had a story about a heroic bus driver in Canada, and we discussed "Bark Air", a new airline just for dogs! Shared some Memorial Day stats & info, and we talked about Grumpy Baby. Doc joined us to talk racing this morning, and during today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about Memorial Day travel, some stole Jägermeister, a grizzly that sprayed itself with bear spray, a car that plunged 300 feet off a cliff, a neighborhood in Kansas City that hasn't had mail delivered in months, a daycare that put ankle weights on a kid to slow him down, a woman who got an $88,000 fine for accidentally taking clams from a beach, a #FloridaWoman who assaulted someone with a cinnamon roll, and a neighborhood dispute about water spots on the pavement.
