Radijo menas – radiofonija – užgimė kone iškart su radijo atsiradimu prieš daugiau nei 100 metų. Vieni pirmųjų to ėmėsi vokiečiai: kompozitorius Kurtas Weilis (1900-1950) ir dramaturgas Bertoltas Brechtas (1898-1956) kartu su moderniosios muzikos legenda Pauliu Hindemithu (1895-1963). Jų radijo opera „Lindbergo skrydis“ (1929) apjungė daugybę tuomet madingų stilių ir išraiškos būdų, pateiktų glaustomis formomis. Dar radiofoniškesnis yra garsaus vokiečių kino režisieriaus Walterio Ruttmanno (1887-1941) darbas „Weekend“ (1930), pranašaujantis tik po Antrojo pasaulinio karo Prancūzijoje atsiradusią konkrečiąją muziką.Laidos autoriai Mindaugas Urbaitis ir Šarūnas Nakas.
