Ann Fontanilla is the Executive Director of TWU GLOBAL - Branches at Trinity Western University. She grew up in the Philippines, in Limay, Bataan, completing a bachelor's degree in economics at the University of the Philippines-Diliman in Quezon City. Her first job was with the Philippines government at the Office of the Cabinet Secretariat, at the age of 21, later joining the administration of the first female president of the Philippines, President Corazon “Cory” Aquino. Ann eventually landed in Bangkok, Thailand and earned a MBA from the Asian Institute of Technology. Becoming a widow after 10 years of marriage, by God's providence, she and her son found refuge and citizenship in Canada, which would lead to the opportunity for her current work helping to expand TWU's Far centers and other global educational efforts. TWU Chapel is a space to engage with and respond to God's story of redemption in Jesus Christ. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11 AM, all members of the Trinity community are invited to gather for a moment of worship and a short word.
