from Rapidly Rotating Records · host Glenn Robison

Ann Ronell Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s. I can guarantee that you’ve heard at least one of this lady’s songs. You can see from her necklace that her first name Ann, but do you know her last name?  She’s Ann Ronell, composer of “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?” You won’t be hearing that in Ann’s first birthday segment which opens the show, but you will hear three other of her songs, including one never played on the show before. We’ll also be celebrating Austin J. Wylie’s birthday and in other segments we’ll have a jamboree and find out who loves ya, baby!  Some of this music is so hot we’ll even have the fire department on standby.  There’s lots of great music and interesting information, so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and be magically transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era.
