It was her experience in Campus Life that inspired her to choose the field of social work as a profession.  Anna graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with her bachelor’s degree in social work in 2007 and obtained her master’s degree in social work from California State University, Sacramento in 2011. She worked within the foster care system for 14 years as a social worker, supervisor, and program manager, before deciding to pursue licensure in 2020. Over the past few years, Anna has held several different roles providing child and family therapy, crisis intervention services for the community, and trauma therapy and training to local first responders. In her free time, Anna enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, reading, learning, working out, riding dirt bikes, backpacking, camping, paddle boarding, and, occasionally, pranking co-workers.
