Anna van Riel/Waste Free Wanda

Along with her folk music career, Anna is the founder of Plastic Free Wanaka, an organisation dedicated to eradicating waste—particularly single-use plastic—in the Queenstown Lakes District, through education and reduction initiatives. Anna has also combined her talents as a musician to create her alter ego, Waste Free Wanda.
