In the dead of night as people sleep that is when the spirits creep as the bell tolls three Dark things take power. We like to call it the super natural Hour and now hey welcome to the supernatural hour podcast. This is your host Raven I'm rogue here's Abbott. This is doc and I'm Chad and today is brought to you by NyQuil Not really we don't really have a corporate sponsor that would be amazing But I mean everybody zoom in because I have got the cold and Doc has got the cold.

He sounds a little like Darth Vader Yeah, you're not alone on the night quil thing. So if Vix is interested in sponsorship. We're down. Yeah, we're good So you might hear the occasional sniffle and snuffle and wheeze We will try to edit those out if they happen, but we apologize.

All right Chad business Hey, the business is brought to you by Castle Photo Art and Castle Nature Art. It's our castle that that does all this stuff He does a great job. He does our team photos So if you need any photo work and you're kind of in the you know the northern Utah area contact Castle You can get him at his website And that can be found on our website our website has an advanced paranormal calm on the on the home page has a number of our friends So for the business we have just set up our Main investigation after a lot of work and trying to get things done We're gonna go to the Kiwanis Park at Battle Creek Canyon and that's in Pleasant Grove It's a really interesting venue. It was the first place in Utah Valley where there was a Alteration between the Native Americans and the Mormon settlers in 1849.

So there's some history there There's a plaque there that talks about it. It's gonna be a great investigation There's a nice pavilion and some some things a number of different areas. We've been up and scoped it out Yeah, and I don't think the spirits there want us there because trying to get this investigation was a nightmare Yeah, the people who've been working with have been great But it was just difficulty to get things coordinated and done Yeah, we anyway I've always called it Battle Creek Park and we went through this whole rigour roll to get Battle Creek Park and then so don't look up Battle Creek Park Because you'll end up by the high school on baseball diamonds Emmett went out and was looking at seeing tell them what you told us Emmett when you were looking at what you had you Yeah, I went on Google Maps and I'm going well This this is right next to the high school and I was wondering are we gonna be investigating haunted tennis courts or a baseball dugout? Which could be cool, but not what I was yeah, no, it's not field of dreams again.

He sent me a mark up all of his like are you sure? That doesn't sound like where we literally just left so it is the Kiwanis Park At Battle Creek Canyon and it's right at the mouth of Battle Creek Canyon You get on 200 south in Pleasant Grove and drive as far east as that road will take you and you'll be there And they literally changed the name from Battle Creek to Pleasant Grove at least the area That's kind of funny when you think about that apparently Battle Creek didn't sit well with some people So they changed the name of the town or the surrounding area to Pleasant Grove Creek Happy Valley was already taken It's Battle Creek to me Yeah, and when I mentioned it to a few people that are from around here everyone else called it Battle Creek Park too Yeah, the the Kiwanis Park and it has been Kiwanis Park forever that bridge There's a bridge with you know metal work around it and it says Quannas Park and it's you know blue with white lettering It's definitely Quannas Park, but everybody called it Battle Creek Park and that sign that you just talked about them It's probably been there since the 30s. Yeah, absolutely Yeah, so it's very historic. There's a lot of stuff that's going on there We're looking forward to to have a great investigation there and that investigation is going to be on saturday may 14th at 8 30 p.m So about to event right and get the tickets or you go to our advanced paranormal site and go to our upcoming events page and get tickets there It's a little wispy out there.

I think that'll be a that'd be a fun nighttime endeavor We won't go to the waterfall, but there's actually a really cute little waterfall up there. It's just darling That's a really neat waterfall. It is and it's an easy hike because I've taken scouts up there have taken you know 11 year olds Yeah, so a place defined as it's just gnarly isn't probably the most paranormal very Um, well, you know jade on our team had a very she and her mom and sister went out there to investigate a couple years back and Um, did not have a very good experience. I mean it was dark.

It was a very dark experience And that's not just because it was at nighttime. Yeah a heavy malevolent dark experience. So it'll be it'll be good Interesting. All right.

Well before that we have a residential it sounds like coming up this week and we're headed back to utak down You talk kind of got spooky again. So our next podcast. We will let you know how that went Sounds great. We look forward to it.

Okay. So our main topic tonight I'm actually really looking forward to it. So it is brought to you by oteos and they're fabulous and we still have to go eat there again If I can eat anything I can eat carbs anymore. So I might have to watch you eat stuff.

Okay Uh I can always just hurt. There's always there's always ice cream, but I can't do I can't do any carbs any sugar It's not just the gluten's yeah, and we okay. You're you're doing you're doing. I know I'm just glad that stakes don't have carbs Enjoy the diet coke All right.

So we're actually tonight gonna talk about analyst, uh, mckill I want to say michael, but it's German. So I think analyst mckill and she um is so if you've ever heard of the movie The exorcism of Emily rose that movie was based um on the scowl analyst michael and um, I've never seen the movie Exorcism of Emily rose and we didn't watch it because this this podcast isn't supposed to be a movie review We want to talk about the actual person. Maybe we'll do a movie review later But this is that about the actual person and I mean I feel bad for her, you know everything that she had to go through is terrible But the the situation as a whole to me. I found fascinating.

This is all new to me I've never heard of her before or the movie. So really this is new to me It's rare that I have heard of a movie that other people have not so I'm super excited And I heard new at the movie, but I didn't know of the origin story for it The origin story with the analyst michael was new to me Yeah, and that's fascinating too, you know because you know as a medical beginning it seems or you know Oh, yeah I mean, you know, this is one that chad and I as we were researching it because I got to you know have a thrilling saturday to sit in the middle Dakes I felt like crap You know, so we watched several, you know different clips and you know it kind of brings into everything about possession and you know We had these all these discussions of issue possessed was it medical? Anyway, let's just jump into it So she was born in Germany in 1952 I think it was 52 September 22 and You know just perfectly normal little girl grew up in a fairly strict staunch Catholic family Um, her mother was a little on the super strict side side The mother had actually gotten pregnant Had an illogical child And the child ended up dying when it was about six years old. Yeah, thanks And anyway, the mother made everybody you know sleep on the hard cold floor and do all these things to atone for you know her her illegitimate child and So I didn't go into going to like the other siblings, but Emily's just had this real you know that she grew up thinking I just have to atone for Everybody in the world since and that was her mindset, you know, she slept on a whole but you know She did all these things to atone for other people and I wanted to say that's that was Christ's job You can just sleep in the bed, but you know we get into the religious aspect there Um, so you know her her growing up childhood was I mean she wasn't you know beating them.

It was a loving family. They just were very very strict I just had very strict religious beliefs and you know, um, you know like other people when they're looking at other people's religious beliefs go Wow, that's way out there. Yeah, you know I'm gonna be like no Christ atone for our sins. So I'm asleep on the bed mom Thanks a lot, but you know everyone has different different beliefs So when she uh, you know she went off to college was a good student Was doing well, but then she started having these bouts of epilepsy And so you know her parents that's what she was diagnosed with Yeah, that's what she was diagnosed with you know start having seizures parents took her to the doctor because even though they might be A little extremely religiously they were still good loving parents And this is relatively recent.

This is modern times and modern medicine. You know, we're not talking about the 30s or the 40s This is very recent. Right. Yeah, this would have been I mean she was born in 1952 So this would have started when she was about 20.

So it would have been you know, the early 70s Yeah, yeah, yeah And one of the other things about this one kind of like the rain man This is an interesting one because it's well documented You know a lot of paranormal things that you hear about there's not great documentation on it But this one like our rain man episode where there's you know, credible people and there's you know, we're gonna talk about later But there was a trial around this there was medical doctors around this there's all sorts of things There's priests and there's you know dates and times and locations and there's even recordings, you know of the of many of the exorcisms So it it's fascinating because sometimes in the paranormal you don't get the detail And this one you do yeah, this one was very very detailed. So um her actual diagnosis that she got in 1970 3 she was diagnosed with psychosis caused by epilepsy and they put her on medicine and She had been on medicine for about five years And I think this was so the five years was prior to like 67 when she first started having some of these epileptic seizures Right, so 67 she gets put on some medication at one point They changed the medication because it didn't seem to be working And it was in 1973. She'd been on the medicine for about five years That's when she started to get kind of depressed. She started to withdraw from her family a little bit which if you go into And study possession and we've talked about it here and there I'm on different podcasts But one of the signs one of the later signs of possession is starting to withdraw from your family and starting to do things that are unusual So so doc it's not unusual though for people to be on a medication and then to have to make adjustments to that is that correct?

That's pretty normal, you know, you know, you gotta find something that works and sometimes You can try medications that actually can amplify or make certain things worse before you find something that's effective So it wouldn't be unusual in this case for you know something to To be effective for a little while and then not to be as effective Now that's pretty common actually Thanks. Yeah, so I was just looking through my notes. It says her first seizure was when she was 16 years old which would have been 1968 So she had her first seizure. So it's interesting One of the first things that her mother noticed was that well Annalise herself said that one of the first things that she started noticing, you know, aside from the seizures was knocking She would hear knocking in her closet You know on the walls and her siblings even said yeah, we've you know, we heard the same knocking Um, but one thing that the mom noticed is she would you know, Annalise would be in a room And she would just be staring resentfully at a statue of the Virgin Mary and then her eyes would just turn jet black And again, this is another one of the signs of possession is, you know, just really having an aversion to religious Conson religious items She said that she could see devil's faces and she could hear voices And the voices would tell her that she was damned and that she was gonna run hell And you know coming from such an about family, you know who Spent their time trying to atone for sins of other people This, you know, did not sit well with her, you know, not only was she trying to atone for her own sins But she was trying to help everybody else, you know alleviate their sins the last place she wants to go is rotten hell Does any of this begive your document at the time?

Sorry that whole rotten hell kind of problem Rotten hell you think of me? As far as now just just the just the kind Yeah, um, yes, I'm sure it was Yeah, there you know a lot of what we saw are you know, we're the recordings and listening to the recordings that we're done But they did talk in a lot of the the documentaries about okay. Yeah, I remember I'm new to this I haven't seen this so I didn't know how much this is just all you know I thought they make this movie just from stories and word of mouth or Just actually listening to her voice when she was speaking the name of the six demons that possessed her body It was otherworldly. Oh sure.

No, that was definitely no. Oh, wow. Yeah, that wasn't her putting on an act. Yeah, not at all So, you know, she started having all these little little signs and the mom started noticing something and she's back and forth doctors and Her actions just got really bizarre and one of them was Superhuman strength and they say that she had an apple in her hand and with one hand squals it and the apple just exploded And we actually watched one youtube video where there's these two guys You know telling the story and telling what happened and they weren't necessarily trying to debunk it But they you know, they're like oh squeezing an apple.

You know, anybody can do that. Yeah, and so the one guy took it He was squeezing squeeze and they took both hands squeezing squeeze. He couldn't and he was a big guy And he couldn't do it. Um, and then one of the things that she did was She climbed under the table and barked like a dog for two days And when I was right, she didn't even sleep.

That was two days straight Yep, two days straight and when I first wrote it down, you know, I'm trying to write fast and I wrote two hours Because I heard the guy say two and then he goes days and I was like, well, I had to rewind it and listen again I said he say days then yeah two days barking like a dog Um, another thing that they said she did was had super human strength at one point She picked up her little sister and threw her across the room like she was a rag doll So, um, the first time that they really thought hey, maybe this isn't just epilepsy You know, maybe this is a medical they'd actually gone on a religious pilgrimage Um, and they had a family friend that went with her and it was I can't remember where it was But at someplace that they thought that the Virgin Mary had appeared and This Virgin Mary sighting has not been confirmed by the Catholic Church But so many people believe in it that it's kind of a pilgrimage area and she went with a family friend And as they're walking to the pilgrimage site, um, she kind of started showing some revulsion She didn't want to get off the bus, um, then when they got her off the bus You know, the family friend came and got her off and she just was not wanting to walk there, you know, kind of really Regently they get her there and I guess one of the things that you did there Is you drank some of the water that was there because you know, it was holy And she went to drink the water and she said I can't drink this at stinks, the water stinks Even as they were approaching, you know, she was showing fear the closer she got to this, you know, whole area And at that point the friend contacted the parents and said I think you need to call a priest You know, there is something going on here that's that's just not right Yeah, she'd been to see the family doctor. They've been to see a neuro, uh, a neurologist And she'd been under their care. The family doctor was a fellow by the name of doctor doctor vocked V-O-G-H-T, voked and then um, the the neuro, the neurologist, his name was doctor Lucy And they finally, you know, got ahold of a man by the name of father, alt and he came over And she was doing things like eating spiders and flies. Um, she peed on the floor and licked it up I know that just sounds tasty, doesn't it?

Even too much for Andrew Zimmer and his show. Oh, yeah, and he eats nasty things. Oh, you know, he's the kid that, you know, as an aside here I'm sorry was, you know, eating worms on the school playground, right for money. So anyway, go on, go on Yeah, and she, you know, she was doing some self-harm She would rip her clothes.

Uh, she would attack her family. She would run through the house having fits Um, she would run around yelling and not just yelling but she would just yell Horrible horrible dark blasphemous things and if you've ever heard or seen like an actual demon Hopefully not in person that continue or something. Um, we've had a couple instances within wisps in advanced paranormal where We've had demonic entities speak to us and they talk to us in Latin And when you translate it into English, it is just the most foul foul things That you could even imagine and so that's you know, that's how she would talk Your mother was a hamster. Yes, exactly stuff just like that So his father, uh, alt was the first one to recognize it as a demonic possession Yeah, you know, he came over and went and you know, talked to the family found out what was going on and he called the Catholic church and said, yeah We got to do something so they actually got the exorcism, but it took a while it did You know, it's not like a couple days.

It takes yeah, the Catholic church just doesn't jump right in on exorcisms right away It's it's quite a process to get to actually do an exorcism right? So they finally got the okay and they actually did over the course of a year they did um, 67 exorcisms on her Um, and I think they said 32 of them are recorded They did 67 exorcisms in 10 months and I believe 32 of them are recorded Um, but the recordings it's interesting Uh, they said While they're talking to it so as you're listening to these they're in Germany, right? So they're in German right in German the spirits are speaking in German So you have to watch some subtitles When we when Chad was first watching these I was doing some other stuff and um, I said shouldn't have those have been in German He's like why what what language did you hear? I said I thought I was listening in English.

He's like well, you've got the gift of tongues Yeah, I wasn't I just can't do two things at the same time apparently Yeah, because it didn't sound like English to me at all. So one way we went it was like, yeah, no, that's totally German But you can find several on youtube where they um You can't find some titles so you can hear what they're saying and it is just awful But the so the spirits that she says or that we're in here that we're talking through her were Hitler Cain Nero Judas as scariet leucifer and in a fellow named fleshman who was a defrocked Priest like in the 13 or 1400s that had been a you know, uh Bad in the catholic church. I mean, you know, he's a known, you know, this is like hell's dream team Uh-huh pretty much So when we were talking about you know the names of the of the demons that said that they were in her I mean, it's interesting because from my research and you know pretty much well known across the paranormal landscape If I mean even if you've watched the conjuring movies if a demon tells you its name you have power over it So these names I don't think were the names of the actual spirits that were in her That was the first thing I thought too. Yeah, I think they were just trying to come up with the most evil names They could have just to say exactly we are so evil we might as well be this right and one of them that I Listen to and they're talking about it.

They kind of get back to that I am that legion You know when when Christ threw the demons out of the pigs Out of the swines and they one of them actually kind of mentioned that and the idea of it was more of you know I'm the one that's been in these people. I'm the one that's been you know With with those different people that was the you know possibly the demon that was infecting and possessing them Right, but I don't think they're gonna actually give you their name and they're just like here We'll just give you these names to let you know that we're bad dudes And the interesting thing too is as you listen to each one Each one has its own cadence and its own I mean it's the same voice because they're using the same vocal chords But you know I've done a lot of stuff with ear. I'm a music teacher I worked dispatch for how many patrol for several years and I got used to hearing the trooper's names I could tell you which trooper was which just by their voice and you know I don't claim to be a Famous or professional audiologist I'll just by any stretch of the imagination, but when you listen to these voices, they're different. They are different entities.

It's not her faking it It's creepy. Wow Each each voice comes from its own consciousness. Yeah, you know the way they say words the way they The way they phrase things kind of the idiom of their speech, you know the swing of their You know how each people have a different walking gate It's almost like you know everyone had each each one of these demons when they would talk when they took their turn individualized a very individualized speaking Gate as it were Which made it for me all the all the creepier. Yeah, so what did you guys think about the voices when you were listening to stuff?

Well for me, I felt like we were saying earlier that there was no way that she was making this up that they were very kind of evil deep dark and nothing that a young lady was coming up with No, um and then to go from like Lucifer like we were saying Lucifer to Hitler like there was different tones. There were different voices in there Yeah, and I mean there were some recordings of her Just with her normal voice and her voice was just kind of a typical high pitch Pleasant voice and you know I've been singing in church before and you had a really high note You try to drop it down and off so you can reach it which I can do a lot better when I'm sick But the depth that her voice went that's like no, there's you can't do that You can't do that on your own I was watching a documentary at like two o'clock in the morning About this and as soon as those voices came on my wife woke up and was like what the hell are you watching? Turn it down as it was creepy. It is super easy.

You should say that But yeah, my wife literally she woke up from sleep and looked on and was like what are you watching at two o'clock in the morning? Actually, like well, it's not porn. So okay And what were you saying? What the hell are you watching?

Hell exactly I was looking through my notes, you know for something else and actually earlier I said that 32 of the exorcisms were recorded was 42. So there's 42 of the 67 or recorded Yep, so besides the voices when you know again, we haven't dealt with any deep dark Demonic entities. Thank goodness. I hope we had something that have been pretty dark But we've had some that have been pretty dark and we have had a couple not like this No, we've had a couple instances where someone has been jumped into for a moment and You know one of the things while they're doing these recordings of these exorcisms is she's contorting herself And if you've ever seen someone with With a demonic entity inside of them.

They move in ways that people ought not move unnatural I'm not I like saying that. I'm not not making sense. I'm fancy that they don't move in normal ways and it's really really Surreal and creepy and spooky to watch and so If you get online and you're watching some of these movies about her because I know y'all are going to because you want to hear these creepy voices At least I do and I feel bad for her don't get me wrong. I realize it was a terrible terrible thing for her to go through It's interesting to hear those voices.

But these kind of entities they do not know how to take care of a body They don't know how to move a body And so you know during these 10 months when she was just full on Possessing going through all these exorcisms a lot of self-harm she stopped eating She would bite holes in the walls They would put holy water on her as part of the exorcism and she would scream and this is when her body would contort She smashed her head through a window Yeah, a lot of the photos are just haunting Oh, you just any doctors consulted during the exorcisms or did they pretty much The medical science washed their hands in this case I think they had pretty much washed their hands and and they had moved in from the medical arena because that's where they started into the Spiritual arena and one doctor actually at one point said I think you need a contact to priest Which is one of the things that put into their heads You know, maybe we should call a priest but he later recanted that and said no, I didn't say that I mean, no, when the doctor says call a priest, that's you know, that sounds kind of final to me Yeah, then they're like yeah, we can do for you from a medical standpoint. So don't don't give you ever gotten to the point where you're like, nah, call your priest I've called a chaplain before but a little different circumstance usually under different circumstances. I've not performed any exorcisms in emergency department Well, that's good. Let's keep it that way So, um, one of the things like you said if you go and listen to these that shows pictures of her in her last days And I'm just heartbroken for this poor little girl They said that is initially like about 50 pounds or something.

She's just brought it to nothing Yeah, she she was actually actually died of malnutrition and dehydration because she would not eat at a certain point But they also said that at the time when she died her knees were smashed because as part of her what these demonic entities were doing to her She would do about 600 genuflections a day I went to catholic school. I remember doing 600 genuflections a day but under your own power Yeah, she Okay, that's that's our so do you want to explain what a genuflection is? Yeah, it's just like you kneel down on one knee, you know, as a A slightly respected aspect of her blessing as you uh before you enter a pew in the church But see what what these demonic entities are going to do though is they're going to actually mock it and do it in a mocking way And so they were you know, they weren't just kneeling they were slamming her into the ground Because you're not gonna did you do it so hard that you broke your knees? Oh, no I still made it halfway to the ground.

Yeah, and she had all sorts of open-source. You think it Yep, that probably would have done it 600 times a day. That's a lot. No.

Yeah, 600 Was it 600 an hour or 600? I think it was a day but considering that she was so Melnourished and you know, it just Yeah, you know just read traffic on her body. Just physical torture is what it was. Absolutely Yeah, she had open-source black eyes and you know just around her her mouth and nose just black and blue and sore on teeth broken and chipped and yeah, the some of the photographs of her, you know, you just You look at the original pictures of her, you know, when she's you know, like her college pictures or high school picture, whatever it was you know, and she's a she's a very pretty you know young young woman and By the time she passed in 1972 76 76 I mean she looks like she's a haggard old woman Yeah Some of the other things that she saw she would see demon faces superimposed on her family members She started breaking pictures in the home very staunch Catholic homes So they had a lot of pictures of Christ a lot of her jimberries a lot of rosary she would break those and throw them She got suicidal which is something that in possession that's kind of the end game It's gonna end game.

That's what they want you to do because the money can't to do is think that if they can get you to commit suicide that they've won But they they don't understand everything over that body Right. They just want that body and another interesting thing is Not only she but other members of the family claimed to smell the smell of burning feces Around Oh So here's some of the things That I also found interesting and to me also point to actually being possessed as opposed to everything being medically You know induced is when they were talking to her They would ask you know these different entities questions and when she said that she was a fleshman She was telling the priest all these things about fleshmen and he looked at her parents and said There's no way that she would have known any of that about about him. That wouldn't be part of your normal Catholic upbringing Yep So some of the things that I found interesting as far as what these entities would say the priest asked The entity if it feared the rosary And it said you know it said yes and the priest asked why it says because because it is No, I will not say it. No, he wouldn't he wouldn't give the reason wouldn't give the reason Every time they talked to an entity it would refer to itself as we and I believe it's because there was more than one in her And they would say things like naturally the work goes on Which if you're religious that could mean a couple different things to you it means something to me But I think that there is work going on continuously good and bad One of the things they said was by command of him above Which I thought was interesting But this is the most interesting thing and I actually played this little segment about 15 times Chad started to get annoyed Because I wanted to write it down exactly but one of the entities inside of her said guardian angels are day and night near you Behind you today people do not believe in guardian angels guardian angels are my enemies.

I hate them So I found that one interesting More than most of them You know most of it was the entities You know the priest asking the entities that you know different things and a lot of the times the entities didn't want to give the answers Give their names You know they kept saying all the time no I don't want to say it but oftentimes it was just foul and vulgar and You know saying things like they wanted her to kill herself and they wanted her to die and blasting against god blasting against mary Most of it's just foul But I don't know You know dealing with charles is my spirit guide You know another word I would call him would be a guardian angel absolutely And in a religion where I believe heavily in guardian angels I found that quote fascinating Yeah, I would think if you you you know if you believe in demonic possession logic would dictate that there are also guardian angels, right? Absolutely there's got to be black and white and opposition and all things and you've got one You've got to have something on the other end of the spectrum so anyway as of With everything going on it was july 1st 1976 that she finally passed And the cause of death was dehydration and malnutrition because she would not eat the last of a while And that's when you know during the autopsy they found all these broken bones and and all these things She they buried her and then The parents and the clergy and I think was a bit of doctor or was it just parents and the clergy that actually went to court They charged them for yeah, they were charged for negligence and you know And the parents and the clergy they're trying to say no no we were trying to take care of our we you know And they tried to explain to them listen to these recordings, but you know 1973 is not going over too big And they were convicted but didn't actually end up going well They were they were convicted to I think it was a six month sentence and most of that was Yeah, I think the priest served three and I think the parents They said that they had suffered enough with their child that they didn't need to To serve the time, you know, they were all gonna produce it time for an exorcism Right you would think that the Catholic well it wasn't for the exorcism it was for not taking care of the needs of the child Or in this case the young as a result as a direct result of the exorcism Right, but it was a negligence or a you know that the you know, they should have got them into medical attention Yeah, and I can't argue with that verdict from the standpoint of saying She would have survived if they intervened even a week before death, right? Right, but I'm thinking you know, it would be frustrating as a parent to say yeah, but we and I wasn't there a court when this all went down I was like three But Yeah, I think as a parent it would be so frustrating to say we had her on medical intervention We had her on you know, this doctor and that doctor and this medicine and then we switched medicines and it wasn't getting better I would just be infuriating to me Yeah, well, that's where with the doctor when they said, you know, did you really tell him to go see a priest? He's like, oh no, I didn't say that what he talked about exactly, you know, yeah He doesn't want to be there's no code for seeing a priest I wouldn't we don't know how to code that Doc is there a code for go see your priest?

No, we talked about the EMI but not you'll see the priest code I can't put in a consult to exorcist Assurance will cover it. It's gonna be an out-of-pocket expense You can't even use your HSA on it I don't know how exactly is all savings account funds? Yeah, so anyway, you know, very sad ending But interesting, you know, when you're looking at it from the point of actual demonic possessions, it's a very fascinating case So when was the movie made what time frame was that? So pretty recent?

Yeah, it's recentish Let's see, we're with the PD in it, right? So one of the interesting things before we finish up on this, I forgot to go into it But as part of, you know, the parents trying to push their case and she was, you know, she was possessed They exhumed her because the thought process was a possessed body won't decompose and it will be You know preserved better than a non-possessed body, which to me sounds a little Out there? Out there and so they exhumed her but the authorities wouldn't let anybody see her Or the pictures? Or the pictures that, yeah, so we don't know, they did exhumer, we don't know And they had her buried on their property also They moved her from the original graveyard where she's at to their property And the house that she was buried at eventually was abandoned for several years and then didn't it burn down?

I don't remember that part, I didn't hear that Okay, I could be wrong but I believe that the house after a while sat empty and then I think it burned down I don't think it's there anymore Interesting Alright Emmet, are you ready with your segment? Well, you know, as a matter of fact, what I was thinking tonight is uh, thanks to a suggestion from you Everybody has their own favorite piece of gear And I wanted to ask some of you what your favorite piece of gear is, bro, what's yours? Well, I'll have to say that lately my favorite piece of gear has been the thermal camera And the reason that I like the thermal camera is I think that I've had my best Evidence? Thank you Um, my best evidence is what the thermal camera when we were at that one house and we were underneath in the crawl space and we had the child seat and we could see the baby in the child seat Done pacing?

No, I that was in Salt Lake County Nope, that was in pacing Was it in pacing, huh? A baby seat under the house? The baby seat under the house? Yeah, yeah, I remember crawling under there So I think Emmet wasn't that your first investigation with us?

That was, that was the very first time I met the two of you, as a matter of fact Awesome I thought I met you up in Kotlin Heights, see? I don't know, I'm not Yeah, that was going, pacing was the first one Okay, okay So that was my first interaction with the thermal camera and it was absolutely amazing I have actually printed a copy of that photo and have it hanging in my office at work Just because like it's a memory, it's a great fabulous memory I've seen that, it's a great image It is, it's a great image Great evidence Send us a copy of that and we'll include it in the YouTube if you'd like us to I have it Okay, yep, you got it That was an incredible investigation, that was the one where we had the SLS evidence of Charles moving the uh, That's right And we also got EVP evidence of someone confirming Raven's description of the portal That was just an amazing investigation Yeah, we had a lot of evidence on that one, that one was awesome Yeah, and we were able to watch the people actually leave while we were outside having our little sware amongst ourselves We were able to watch the people hurry up and leave with that car seat and get rid of it Yeah, that was kind of fun Yeah, yep, yep Chad, what's your favorite piece of gear? One of them that I've been enjoying recently is that it's a web or a phone app Called GhostTube And there's three different ones, there's like a ghost tube that's got like an An SLS on it, um, and then there's another one that kind of does the words And we actually use the one with the words on a recent investigation Or a those type things Yeah, where it goes and everyone now and again pops out a different word And we were really interesting investigation up in Salt Lake not too long ago And we had a lot of uh, a lot of you know, you can say coincidental words but things that were very In um, you know, in context Yeah, well not only were they in context but the timing was right too Right, and so it was just too many factors to make it a coincidence It's like no, that's legit So I've been enjoying that, that little app, um, I think it's I think a lot more paranormal apps lately on phones More and more of the videos showing up online, people are just using phone apps now Yeah, the little ghost tube and then there's the little ghost tube and it's got like the SLS You know with the stick figures and that one I haven't got as good of Results on that where I've seen some things I have seen, you know, where it maps the chair And you see that kind of thing I haven't had that but I've actually seen one of our investigators when we were down in Petitney Who showed me the app, she had some phenomenal, um, you know of the the mapped entity kinds of things That definitely weren't, you know, the chairs and the physical surroundings around you Right. It was very interesting That's cool.

Yeah, that's a and I have seen that, uh, that SLS phone app in action And it looks just like a just like, you know, a dedicated SLS to the image So I want to know what's the cost of that app? It's free It's a free app because I know what the cost of an SLS and some of this other equipment is So that's that's amazing No, and it's been and when I say the SLS part of it I haven't had as good results with yet, but I haven't used it very often But the other the other parts have been very good You know, and to comment on the SLS I did download one of those last fall and compared it to Uh, a regular SLS build. I could not get the regular SLS I could never get them to agree on anything For one showed one the other one yet So that's interesting Yeah, I'm gonna go with inconclusive as of now on that Yeah, and I really like the SLS I just the problem with the SLS is how large it is and that it runs out of power Really quickly, but Emmett's come up with a solution for yours Oh, yeah, in fact, um, uh, rogue and I both do this We just decided, you know, instead of switching for the, you know, charge back and forth We just keep an extra tablet So when one tablet's dead, we swap them out, put the first one on the charger And that's quick and easy, so And then when we're carrying it around, we have it on a what is it? It's not a tripod Monopod Yeah, if you're gonna be carrying it all night, stick it on a monopod And that takes a lot of the weight off of it, it doesn't weigh anything And it helps a lot Nice So pull in some kinks Anybody else have a favorite piece of gear?

I don't know that I have a favorite I know what yours is Well, I like the dowsing runs, but the problem with the dowsing runs is it takes kind of the fun out of it I usually don't pull those out to last It doesn't take batteries, it's not cool enough I know I take batteries, right? One of my favorite investigations ever was one of our first ones ever WISPS, it was my mom's neighbor just at the street about a block And they had a spirit in their house, it was very playful, very friendly And we did a flashlight session with her Flashlights were actually the first equipment I purchased Because of this session, and we sat and we talked to her for probably an hour, hour and a half And it was, you know, light up the red one, if yes Right up the blue one, if no, you know, turn on the left one, flash the right one twice And she would do every single thing we asked her to do Yeah, it was quite amazing It was awesome, we would say turn the left one on twice, really fast, boom boom Turn the right one on slow, I mean, it was incredible And I've never had one that clear that Yeah, you had some pretty good flashlight play at Rock King and Park a couple of weeks ago A little bit, but still nothing compared to that one But the flashlights can be really neat, but sometimes they can be very inclusive also And the last couple of years I haven't been thrilled with it, I always pull them out But I think I might need to get new flashlights, I have something wrong with this Hi, Doc I'm just super boring, I like the K2, Ghost Meter Pro stuff And the reason for it is because I like seeing when there's energy changes And trying to see if I can debunk it, kind of make it a tap to look around and say, okay What's different now than what was before? Because you do get these random spikes in energy, right? Absolutely I like seeing that because it gives you, at least you know, there's been a quantifiable change that has occurred And then you can kind of find ways to debunk the delta, the change there And there are times where you just can't and I think it's pretty fascinating That was one of those times when you couldn't, was it the Benson Grissmill when that girl was following you around?

Apparently, yes, that guy was going nuts The spirit girl, huh? I'd been in the room previously and didn't get anything and then went back in And yeah, it was going crazy and then other people in the room It wasn't, their K2 meters weren't really budging And so there's some interesting stuff there that I find fascinating for sure Yeah, that was an interesting investigation Alright, well, thank you, innit? Yeah, you bet, yep Till next time Think about what kind of gear you like and why Everybody knows my favorites but that changes weekly Alright, before the junk drawer, I want to remind you all about Supernatural Hour Swag at advancedparanormal.com The only place to go for your paranormal accessories And tablets? No, tapestry?

Tapestry? Everything Okay, you remember last time I said I thought I got in a sweatshirt, it was Supernatural Hour But then I couldn't find it and then I doubted whether or not I had one and then Rogue said that I did have one It showed up, yeah, we found it Yeah, we can do it It ate ported in Chat found it in the laundry Perfect So there you have it, has one of your daughters been wearing? No, it's super cool No, probably not No, I just between school and being sick I haven't done the laundry like forever Okay, so You're excused, that's right Thank you So for our junk drawer, I thought you know we haven't done a stone in a long time And so I sat down and I was trying to find a stone I don't have a specific stone so I apologize, we'll try to do one again soon But I found some interesting stuff about just stones in general So as far as people using stones like you know for healing and energy work and stuff There's actually records from ancient Sumer Showing that crystals were used for prosperity and health as far back as 10,000 years ago Sorry, he wanted to join in a little bit there Yeah, so 10,000 years ago in England It shows that they've been using crystals for prosperity and health And then in Egypt it shows that stones were used for medicinal and ritual purposes Some of the stones they used were lapis lazuli Turquoise, crinillion emerald quartz Leonardo da Vinci on his desk at an amethyst And he said that amethyst dispels evil thoughts and speeds up thinking And in 1880 there was a study done and the study said that if you change the temperature And put pressure on different stones, they actually create electricity And this is called the Paizo, Paizo electric effect, I'm probably saying that well He's all electric Thank you And this is used in microphones, quartz watches, ancient printers, sonar, and medical implants So stones are kind of a cool thing Yeah, one of the other things that I've always found interesting about stones Is from the biblical standpoint where Aaron's breastplate had 12 stones Representing each of them representing a different one of the different tribes of Israel So I think that's interesting too because people, you know, sometimes religious people, you know, Christian people go You know stones, you know, that's a bunch of hooey and it's like well Kind of interesting that in, you know, the Old Testament we've got stones Oh yeah, lots of stones in those scriptures You're in the middle of the stones and we could go on for a while about that Alrighty, well, good night my Haunty friends, stay smoky Love you, Nipos See you next time Have a good one Hey, have a good night You've been listening to the Supernatural Hour at Advanced Paranormal.com The Supernatural Hour is part of the Radio Ronan Network found at Radio Ronan.com Copyright by Advanced Paranormal Services
