Annie Honn

Annie Honn is a formally trained glass blower who received her Bachelors of the Fine Arts from Emporia State University in 2020. She trained at Kansas City’s own Monarch Glass Studio for one year before making her way as an independent artist. Working primarily out of the studio of Karg Art Glass (Kechi, Ks) Annie is a commission based artist as well as creating one of a kind works of art for the gallery. Annie has had the pleasure of studying under renowned artists such as Patrick Martin, Jen Elek, and David Walters during her 7 year career. Annie looks at everyday in the shop as practice no matter if its production or a more intricate project, continually honing the technical aspects of hot glass. You can currently find her sweating away in the glass lab as part of her artist residency at Englewood Arts in Independence.
