She was awarded the Premio Valle-Inclán for her translation of Wars of the Interior by Joseph Zárate, her translation of Brickmakers by Selva Almada was shortlisted for the Warwick Prize for Women in Translation, and her translation of Not a River, also by Selva Almada, is currently on the longlist for the International Booker PrizeShe spoke about the novel 'Not a River', bringing the rural Argentine soundscape into English and about the writer Selva Almada.
