Annunciation - Trust in God

Today we begin the advent novena reflections. The theme for this special novena is Jesus Christ, A Christmas Gift, God’s Love for us. In this first week of the advent novena, Fr Yosef reflects on the Annunciation - Trust in God. We all know about the story of Mother Mary and angel Gabriel. God’s plan is often full of surprises and beyond our understanding. God’s ways are not meant to confuse us but to invite us to trust him even when we don’t understand. Trusting God does not mean that our lives will be free of difficulties, but it assures us that He is in control, and He will always hold our hand and never let us walk alone.
