She has to focus on time critical conditions rather than those who may be seen as less serious.As a young person, she had eczema and acne, and was bullied for this. She then later experienced anorexia, which led to hair loss. eventually she began to investigate what was causing her hair loss, and discovered that it can often be multi factorial.Dr Laura has a great perspective of disordered eating from both a Doctor's and patient's point of view. She shares the difference between  anorexia and disordered eating, and how even those who are overweight can still be malnourished and could experience hair loss.
