Another Crossover feat. Thomas & Gerry from Red Tide Radio

from Bird Road Podcast · host All Points West

*** You can donate to the victims of the Surfside Champlain Towers disaster at supportsurfside.org.*** Q & Jewish Dave sat down for an hour with the fellas from Red Tide Radio to go over a whole host of news items, and to try to have a bit of fun on a dour week marked by the tragedy of what could end up being a large loss of life in the Surfside Champlain Towers disaster. We talk about Miami-Dade’s fetish for development at all cost, and how that ravenous pursuit of profits translates to worse living conditions for our citizens. Then we got into a recent Bloomberg piece about the value of young people working extra hours for free, and how their sweat and blood greases the same great wheel that breaks their backs. We finish up with a rousing game of “Republican, or just a Florida Democrat?” which Thomas, frankly, dominated.  Check out Gerry and Thomas on Red Tide Radio on Youtube:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbzQLM59unB1smJd_dnKm2A And on Soundcloud.
