Another Grindhouse Mashup! Sat. @6pm!

Guess what?  The team at Afronerd Radio has decided to do another Grindhouse Mashup broadcast!  We will mix up, mash up and/or sandwhich in pop/pulp culture, politics, tech and science all into one mighty broadcast.  So tune in for this Saturday's special Grindhouse/Comic Shoppe/Afronerd Radio show featuring Daryll B., Capt. Kirk and Dburt airing at 6pm sharp!  The topics slated to be placed in our verbal cyclotron are: our impressions Thor: The Dark World; Marvel's deal with Netflix promises Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Daredevil and Jessica Jones series; Batman vs Superman has more casting rumors (Wonder Woman, Nightwing?) and Marvel addresses diversity issues with a new (and Muslim) Ms. Marvel. And now for more socio-political and cultural fare!  The Grindhouse mashup continues with the colloquium with even more topics: our impressions of the Miami Dolphins' racism/hazing controversy; continuing from the last broadcast about alleged Black backlash toward the 12 years a Slave film; a speaking of slavery cinema...there's talk of a a Roots reboot and lastly, Home Depot apologies for a racist tweet.  Call live at 646-915-9620!  Nuff said!
