Another Testament of Jesus Christ - Introductory Pages of the Book of Mormon

Welcome to our first week studying the Book of Mormon together! This week we are studying the Introductory Pages of the Book of Mormon. What a fun week of scripture. Its introductory pages describe a backstory unlike any other—including visits from angels, an ancient record buried for centuries in a hillside, and a young man translating the record by the power of God. Welcome to Come Follow Me Kids! If you are joining us for the first time as we begin to study the Book of Mormon - welcome! And if you have been with us all along as we’ve studied the Doctrine & Covenants, the Old Testament and The New Testament - welcome back! We are soooo excited to study the Book of Mormon this year. Joseph Smith called the Book of Mormon the keystone to our religion! This is a podcast for primary aged kids who attend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This week the children will learn: Studying the Book of Mormon can strengthen my faith in Jesus Christ. We will study the title page, the introduction, Joseph Smiths testimony, and the testimony of the 11 witnesses. We will also learn how Joseph obtained the plates. And most importantly we will learn how we can gain our own testimonies of the Book of Mormon and also how we can be witnesses for it as well.
