His leadership philosophy centers on intelligence-led, proactive policing, strong community partnerships, and inspiring excellence within his department.Throughout his career, Chief Fields has been deeply involved in SWAT, Internal Affairs, Training, Hiring & Recruiting, Accreditation, and Field Training Programs, bringing experience from every level of service.He holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Hodges University and a Bachelor of Science from International College. He is also a proud graduate of the FBI National Academy (Session 286) and a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.In this conversation, Chief Fields opens up about growing up in New York, moving to Florida with his wife and child, and answering his calling to serve in law enforcement.
