The Empire Club of Canada Presents: Anthony Haines, President and Chief Executive Officer, Toronto Hydro Corporation Anthony Haines is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Toronto Hydro Corporation and its subsidiaries, one of the largest urban electricity distribution companies in Canada. He is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in the Canadian energy industry, including 15 years in various senior roles in the natural gas industry. Mr. Haines currently sits on the Ontario Energy Association, OEA, Board of Directors and is the incoming Chair for 2017. In addition, he served as Chair of the Canadian Electricity Association from 2013 to 2015. Anthony is actively involved in fundraising efforts for the Ross Tilley Burn Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital. This is the largest and most advanced burn treatment centre in Canada and a leading researcher on electrical injury rehabilitation.
