Anthony Peake -- Neon Galactic -- Episode 42

In this series of Neon Galactic interviews, KEET-TV attended the 2024 Contact in the Desert event in Indian Wells, CA, to chat with several folks who represent the leading edge of radical thinking in the subjects of artificial intelligence, NHI, UFOs, and more. This is Part II of four interviews conducted at the event, which was held between May 30 and June 3 of 2024. Anthony Peake has written a number of books dealing with a range of topics that challenge preconceived and materialistic notions of reality. His wide expertise and deep thinking merge concepts and details from a number of sources to produce a uniquely pragmatic and sensible approach to the existential questions and conundrums facing humanity. With early sources and influences ranging from "The Sky People" by Brinsley Le Poer Trench and British series "Man Myth and Magic," to Jacques Vallee’s "Passport to Magonia" and John Keel’s "Operation Trojan Horse," Peake from the beginning was an avid intellectual explorer who sought to push boundaries and make sense of the universe. While his early career focused on economics, the sociology of religion, and Italian Renaissance art, by the year 2000 he’d decided to focus on putting much of what he’d learned and come to believe into book form, in what later became his first volume, “Cheating the Ferryman.” It was a distillation of all his areas of interest, quantum physics, neurology, ancient myths, altered-states of consciousness and the mystery of death. Thanks to the help of Professor Bruce Greyson of the University of Virginia, an article based upon Peake’s “Cheating the Ferryman” hypothesis was to appear in the Winter 2004 edition of the Journal of Near-Death Studies, the academic periodical of the International Association of Near-Death Studies (IANDS). A few months later, in early 2005, British publishing house Arcturus bought the rights to the book and, a year later, and after a substantial re-write, it was published as, “Is There Life After Death – The Extraordinary Science of What Happens When We Die.” More than 60,000 copies have since been sold, and the volume has been translated into various foreign language editions including Spanish, Russian and Polish. In this conversation, we discuss Peake’s notions of the human soul and how every conscious being has two abiding centers of identity within, a daemon that represents the being’s higher self – which transcends and unites our earthly incarnations – and an avatar-like personality that is bound to only one life cycle. We also discuss Peake’s conception of reincarnation, and the presence in this universe of egregorials, creations of consciousness that over time can gain the autonomy and power to manifest independently of their creators.
